"Heavy Rain The Movie" is an unofficial fan cut of Sonys 2010 hit game Heavy Rain, condensing about 500 minutes of gameplay into 165 minutes of film. It's in English with english subtitles. But it's no simple "playthrough", "longplay" or "letsplay": A professional cutter, René Jacob, has moved, shortened, cut and dropped various scenes, concentrating on Ethan Mars' struggle to save his son. The movie starts after the prologue, but uses prologue scenes in other instances to explain the background of Ethan and Shaun Mars. Most of Jayden's virtual reality scenes were cut, as is Madisson's shower and nightmare scene, and various others that do not progress the main plot. This results in a faster pace and a watchable length: If you've already played through Heavy Rain (or don't plan to anyway), we can highly recommend this cut to you.
